Role
We need to hire a DevOps engineer to scale our deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, and on-premises environments. The role owns the full build, deploy, and run posture for those environments.
 
What we are NOT looking for:  A pure SRE with no IaC background, or developer with only incidental ops work.
 
Must have
  1. 5+ years operating production Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OKE, or self-managed)
  2. Infrastructure as code with Helm
  3. Multi cloud networking (VPC, Private Link, peering)
  4. Ability to read Dockerfile— writing one from scratch isn't required, but the candidate should be able to follow what an image is doing: base image, layers, build steps, environment variables, and especially the entry point and command.
  5. Solid hands-on command-line proficiency in Linux, with a focus on viewing and extracting logs quickly
 
Nice to have
  • Production AKS experience (we run several AKS deployments)
  • CI/CD with Jenkens, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions
  • GitOps with Argo CD or Flux
  • Lakehouse and streaming infrastructure (Apache Iceberg, Kafka)
  • PostgreSQL and Redis at scale
  • Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and a log aggregator
  • Prior work with regulated customers in banking, utilities, or healthcare
  • Familiarity with ISO 42001 or NIST AI RMF
  • Security awareness across SAST, DAST, SCA, image signing, and air gap container registries
  • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2). They do not need to be a compliance expert but must be comfortable operating controls
  • Secrets management with Vault or equivalent
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Federated identity (OAuth, SAML, OIDC)
