Role Overview
PediaStaff is seeking dedicated and compassionate Developmental Therapists / Special Instruction Providers to serve children ages birth 3 through North Carolina s Early Intervention program. In this role, you will provide family-centered, evidence-based developmental support in natural environments while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to support IFSP goals.

Job Details
  • Schedule: Highly flexible; sessions scheduled directly with families
  • Setting: Natural learning environments including family homes, early childhood centers, playgrounds, clinics, and hospitals
  • Session Length: 45 60 minutes, one to two times per week per IFSP
  • Caseload:
    • Begin part-time
    • Opportunity to grow caseload based on performance, availability, and preference
  • Travel: Local travel within assigned service area
Requirements-
  • Bilingual
  • Bachelor s degree in one of the following or a related human services field:
    • Early Childhood Education
    • Birth Kindergarten Education
    • Early Childhood Special Education
    • Special Education
    • Child Development / Child & Family Studies
    • Psychology
    • Counseling
    • Human Development
    • Nursing
    • Social Work
  • Ability to pass Federal and State background checks
  • Valid driver s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, reliability, and responsiveness
  • Willing to start part-time with the opportunity to grow caseload

Experience
Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of child development or early childhood related experience

Preferred:
  • 3+ years of child development or early childhood experience
  • Early Intervention experience
  • Experience working on an interdisciplinary team
  • General knowledge of pediatric therapy disciplines and case management
