*Pay includes a $3.00/hour stipend. An additional $1.00/hour is available with a relevant Master's Degree.

This is a full-time position located in Augusta, ME that allows for partial telework with management approval.

Core Responsibilities:

This position is professional social services work of a supervisory nature in directing, overseeing and reviewing the work and activities statewide for Developmental Services Eligibility and intake caseworkers.

As an Eligibility Casework Supervisor, you will:

• Plan, organize, direct and monitor case work activities for Developmental Services Eligibility and intake Caseworkers.

• Confer with and advise your team on program matters.

• Review and compare work performance/productivity of subordinate staff on a regular basis within established standards. Provide feedback to subordinate staff to improve performance/productivity, efficiency and provide opportunities for growth.

• Confer with other agencies and community resources in efforts to improve quality of services provided to constituents.

• Participate on community task groups, committees, and boards to promote agency goals, objectives, and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must have eight (8) years of education and/or professional experience in social work which includes at least two (2) years experience as a fully licensed social worker* (LSW).

Preference will be extended to candidates possessing four (4) years of experience as a fully licensed social worker (LSW).

*Special Note: An LMSW or LCSW automatically meets the two (2) years fully licensed social worker experience requirement.

LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

The background of well-qualified candidates will include at least 1 year of experience supervising the activities of those working with incapacitated and dependent adults. Please describe that experience in your cover letter.
