Members build positive, consistent relationships with students, families, and staff. They adjust responsibilities with the administrative team based on school needs.
Main duties include:
• Planning and leading enrichment activities that draw on member strengths • Providing academic support through tutoring, study skills, and time management coaching • Supervising large study groups
Members also manage the merit buck store, where students exchange earned credits for basic items, and assist with school clubs such as dance groups, GSA, and Student Council.
Additional expectations include:
• Attending weekly meetings • Supporting campus events • Wearing designated AmeriCorps gear • Following all regulations for serving youth populations
