Business Development Representative (BDR) - Industrial Safety & Occupational Health
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote + Heavy Travel)
Travel: ~60-70% (Job Sites, Client Visits, Industry Events)

The Role
OnPoint Industrial Services is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support growth across the Mountain Region.
This is an entry-level, field-based sales role designed for someone early in their career who wants to break into industrial sales. You'll work directly with experienced sales leaders, gaining hands-on exposure to job sites, client meetings, and the full sales cycle.
This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, and eager to build a career in outside sales, especially in construction, energy, and industrial environments.

What You'll Do
  • Support new business development efforts across industrial, construction, and energy markets
  • Spend significant time in the field visiting job sites and client locations Prospect daily through calls, emails, networking, and site visits
  • Set meetings and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team
  • Build relationships with Safety Managers, Project Managers, and Operations Leaders
  • Assist in preparing proposals and supporting the sales process through close
  • Maintain activity and pipeline updates in CRM
  • Partner with sales, operations, and recruiting teams to support client needs
  • Learn OnPoint's services, industry landscape, and sales process through hands-on experience
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience
  • Interest in working within industrial, construction, or field-based environments
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with new people daily
  • Willingness to work in PPE environments (steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses)
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and driven to build a career in sales
  • Coachable with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel frequently and spend time in the field
  • Based within ~75 minutes of a major airport
Preferred
  • Exposure to construction, industrial, or labor environments (internships, prior roles, or personal experience)
  • Experience in cold calling, prospecting, or customer outreach
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
