CASMAN is seeking an enthusiastic individual to be an integral part of our team of construction and development professionals!

About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Administrator for our Victoria, BC Office who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in supporting our development and construction teams through project administration, document control, project accounting, and coordination activities from project planning through turnover.

How You'll Contribute

  • Assist with document control and project administration
  • Scheduling meetings with multiple stakeholders and preparing minutes
  • Preparing contracts and purchase orders
  • Generate invoices and maintain billing records
  • Process payment approvals from vendors
  • Maintain organized project records and financial documentation
  • Prepare reports, and internal project documentation
  • Promote compliance with safe work practices and company standards
  • Support project development from inception through turnover
  • Support communication between consultants, service providers, internal teams, and field staff

Experience & Skills

  • Completion of a minimum two-year Diploma from a post-secondary institution in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a four-year degree is considered an asset
  • 2 or more years experience in a development or multi-family construction organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) a must
  • Experience with Timberline (Sage) and Timberscan is considered an asset
  • Experience with accounting processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable a must
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Candidate must be based in the Victoria area
