Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks:
Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Has proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involvetwo (2)years in the following:
+ Utilizing Agile and Scrum development methodologies;
+ Angular, REST, Spring Boot, Maven, GitHub, Java or database technologies;
+ Delivering high-quality multi-threaded application code;
+ Development experience in producing and maintaining production-grade software;
+ Integrating classic and modern applications leveraging AngularJS as the front end;
+ Version control tools GIT, employing data modeling techniques using JSON and XML; and
+ Designing and developing various components using the Angular framework along with HTML, CSS, or Typescript.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $151,079 - $196,740. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,079 - $218,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
