Developer-Full Stack Senior

Job Title:Java Full Stach Developer 
Location: McLean, VA (Local Candidates only) 
Pay Range : 70-75/hr on w2 
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong analytical skills
• Application development, testing, and deployment skills utilizing Java, Spring Boot, SQL, JavaScript, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins
• Ability to understand and convert existing Python applications to Java
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., VS Code, Amazon Kiro)
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• AWS
• Angular/React
• Kafka

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• End-to-end software development including analysis, design, development, automated testing, deployment, and maintenance using industry best practices and security standards
• Performance optimization by analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance application efficiency and scalability
• Collaborative solution delivery by partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implementing solutions with cross-functional teams
• Production support and maintenance to ensure seamless business operations
