Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate with experience enhancing financial applications, developing forecasting solutions, and supporting critical production processes in a fast-paced environment.
Rate Range: $80/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer-Full Stack Senior Job Responsibilities include:
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages while following coding standards and best practices.
Support critical financial reporting and forecasting production cycles by monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate results.
Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests to improve code quality, system reliability, and test coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, data, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, to deliver new forecasting capabilities and business solutions.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, platform upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce technical debt and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field (master's degree preferred).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Strong experience with Git version control, SQL/database development, Pandas, automated unit testing frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
Knowledge of financial services and fixed income concepts, including forecasting applications, financial analytics, and stakeholder-driven solution delivery; CFA, FRM, or CPA credentials are a plus.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
