Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate with experience enhancing financial applications, developing forecasting solutions, and supporting critical production processes in a fast-paced environment.

Rate Range: $80/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages while following coding standards and best practices.

  • Support critical financial reporting and forecasting production cycles by monitoring application performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accurate results.

  • Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests to improve code quality, system reliability, and test coverage.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, data, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, to deliver new forecasting capabilities and business solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, platform upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce technical debt and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field (master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

  • Strong experience with Git version control, SQL/database development, Pandas, automated unit testing frameworks, and software engineering best practices.

  • Knowledge of financial services and fixed income concepts, including forecasting applications, financial analytics, and stakeholder-driven solution delivery; CFA, FRM, or CPA credentials are a plus.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
