Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC (Remote). The ideal candidate will develop and maintain .NET-based healthcare applications and FHIR-enabled APIs to support secure clinical and administrative data exchange.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and RESTful APIs that support healthcare interoperability and data exchange.

  • Implement and manage FHIR R4/R5 resources for seamless integration with EHRs and external healthcare systems.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality healthcare solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare security standards, and data privacy requirements across all applications.

  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization while supporting CI/CD pipelines.

  • Participate in system architecture, technical documentation, and integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6-8 years of experience in .NET application development, healthcare interoperability, and API integration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API, FHIR (R4/R5), HL7, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.

  • Proven experience in healthcare data exchange, EHR integrations (Epic/Cerner preferred), HIPAA compliance, SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $54.00 per hour
