Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC (Remote). The ideal candidate will and support healthcare interoperability solutions by building .NET applications and FHIR-based integrations that enable secure clinical and administrative data exchange.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain .NET-based healthcare applications and FHIR/HL7 integrations to support clinical, claims, and member data exchange across healthcare systems.
Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with EHR platforms and external healthcare applications.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to deliver solutions supporting CMS Grievances, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) programs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security, privacy, and healthcare regulatory requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization while supporting CI/CD and deployment processes.
Participate in system design, technical documentation, and healthcare data transformation initiatives using FHIR, HL7, JSON, and XML standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in healthcare application development, healthcare operations, or healthcare technology solutions.
Strong experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API, FHIR/HL7 standards, RESTful APIs, and healthcare data integrations.
Solid understanding of Healthcare CMS Grievances, Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) processes, HIPAA compliance, healthcare workflows, and EHR integration environments.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $54.00 per hour
