This position is for an Application Programmer Analyst who has extensive experience in migration Visual Studio 2003 ASP.NET applications to Visual Studio 2010.
The role of the Worker is to plan, execute, and finalize the migration project of the legacy Visual Studio 2003 ASP.NET applications according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes:
Analyze the scope and effort of the migration project
Develop the migration plan and schedule
Execute the migration plan
Run the Conversion Wizard
Set the target framework and startup page
Compile and fix
Convert pages and user controls to partial classes
Compile and fix
Regression testing
Develop technical documentation
Knowledge transfer
Production deployment
Provide Post-Migration stabilization and support
Other Special Requirements:
Develop project and technical documentation.
Follow Agile methodology to execute project.
Develop backlog items
Update sprint information
Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning and sprint review
Practice best practice in software source control
Minimum Requirements:
8 Years’ Experience:
With web application development using Microsoft Visual Studio
With Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and newer version in develop databases, reports and SSRS packages.
3 Years’ Experience in migration Visual Studio 2003 ASP.NET applications to Visual Studio 2010
2 Years’ Experience with software development using Agile methodology
