Developer 3, Systems Software sought by Merastar Insurance Company in Richardson, TX. 40 hrs./wk. Duties include: Provide tech. support for app. software dev. or computing technologies. Develop, document, & execute unit test cases. Identify & resolve complex tech. issues. Recommend test plans for impacted areas & test coverage. Recommend improvements to  processes. Perform code & design reviews. Lead projects; plan for  resources needed. Develop tech. knowledge & performance skills of IS projects teams. Establish or fine tune CI/CD pipelines & practices. Participate in daily site, cross-site & product team stand ups. Proof-of-concept activities. Dev. tech. specs, design documents, functional designs, & req. Remote work / telecommuting benefits available - Hybrid position allowing telecommuting 65 days per yr. MIN REQ: Bach. degree, or foreign equiv., in Info Tech. or related field. 5 yrs exp. in job offered. SPECIAL REQ: 5 yrs exp. in each: Tomcat, Java/Spring, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Angular, Hibernate, SQL, JSON/XML, REST Web Services, Git/SVN, & build tools (such as Jenkins); coding, unit testing & debugging complex business apps.; writing sys. design specs. for complex apps.; cloud dev. practices; software dev.
