Job Title: Desktop Technician / ICT Technician (Onsite)

Location: Lewisville, TX (100% Onsite)
Shift: 24/7 environment – Shift environment 

 

Job Summary

We are hiring a Desktop Technician / ICT Technician to support a fast-paced 5G Smart Factory environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting of IT systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity in a production setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for IT incidents, service requests, and user queries
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support LAN/WAN connectivity and physical network infrastructure
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, and other peripherals
  • Perform software installations, updates, and system configurations
  • Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new users
  • Manage and support Active Directory (user accounts, groups, access)
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams
  • Provide support via phone, email, and in person
  • Follow up with users to ensure issue resolution

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of desktop support / help desk experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, networking)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android device support
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (user provisioning, permissions)
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
  • Experience using command-line tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • Experience with SCCM (imaging, deployments, updates)
  • Experience with network diagnostic tools (e.g., Fluke)
  • Experience troubleshooting system failures (e.g., BSoD)

 

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite role in Lewisville, TX
  • Supporting a 24/7 production operation
