Job Description:
The Desktop Support Technician provides technical support and maintenance for end-user technology, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and specialized hospital equipment.
This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and imaging workstations, and ensuring timely resolution of technical problems while meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The technician works closely with vendors, IT teams, and end users to support service delivery, implement system enhancements, and maintain a reliable, high-availability technology environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking, Citrix, and Active Directory is essential, along with excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Five or more years of IT support experience in a corporate or healthcare setting is preferred.
