Desktop Support Technician (Banking Environment)

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support or help desk environment.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with asset management tools and inventory tracking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and banking applications.
• Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
• Manage and track IT equipment through asset management systems.
• Set up and deploy new user workstations and equipment.
• Document processes, solutions, and technical procedures.
