Job Title: Desktop Support
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day Service Desk support for users located in the Americas region with a focus on Pittsburgh operations.
  • Carry out installation, configurations, and maintenance on desktops, laptops, software, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Prioritize imaging, building, and shipping PCs and mobile devices, as well as onsite desk setups.
  • Support PC refreshes and Windows 11 rollout initiatives.
  • Assist incoming requests and incidents from tickets, calls, and walk-up support.
  • Support executives and help manage meetings, video conferencing equipment, and visitor internet access.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and application issues, researching and escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintain all corporate IT equipment including inventory management, upgrades, repairs, maintenance, and replacements.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Regional Manager of IT Americas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Work efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance with best practices and standardization requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Corporate Office setting.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Proven experience in providing help desk support.
  • Strong knowledge of current technologies.
  • Support experience with desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems and server-side applications.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Organized with detail-oriented and superb customer service skills.
  • Willing and able to learn new technologies and take on increasing responsibilities.
