Job Description:

Position Overview

The IT Support Specialist will provide frontline technical assistance and exceptional customer service to end users across the organization. This role is responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining computer hardware and software, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a positive support experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service through clear, professional communication and timely issue resolution
  • Configure, set up, and install computer equipment, peripherals, and related hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users
  • Manage and update support tickets using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and asset information
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Support software installations, updates, and system maintenance activities
  • Work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in configuring, installing, and maintaining computer equipment
  • Experience using ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments
  • A+ or other relevant IT certifications
