Introduction

The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting end-to-end desktop related activities. This role is 100% onsite and requires a strong understanding of both technical and business requirements to provide effective solutions and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Deskside Management, Touch Support, Local IT, Imaging, and O365 Support.
  • Proficiency in investigating and troubleshooting software and desktop issues.
  • Experience in providing support for desktop, laptop, printer, and proprietary software.
  • Ability to provide remote support and troubleshoot end-user issues.
  • Experience with Windows OS and MacBook support.
  • Experience with Zscaler troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of SCCM, Intune, and Windows 10 with the ability to design and implement solutions.
  • Prior experience in the design and implementation of the SCCM hierarchy.
  • Prior experience in migrating to SCCM from other tools.
  • Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with additional desktop management tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage and support end-to-end desktop-related activities onsite.
  • Provide deskside management and touch support.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot software and desktop issues.
  • Support remote desktop activities and provide remote troubleshooting.
