Position Summary
The IT Deskside Support Technician is responsible for delivering on-site technical support to end users within a large corporate environment. This role provides comprehensive deskside support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, AV conferencing systems, and other IT equipment while ensuring a high level of customer service. The technician diagnoses and resolves hardware and software issues, performs IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities, supports user data migrations, manages IT assets, and assists with networking, server, and telecommunications technologies through Smart Hands services. Success in this role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, professionalism, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment while supporting both standard users and executive staff.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on support for IT equipment in a large corporate environment.
- Deliver desktop and laptop support for both Windows and Mac devices.
- Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless connectivity, VPN access, and related technologies.
- Perform IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, and Change) for IT equipment.
- Maintain and repair hardware, spare parts, and system components.
- Research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Track, update, and resolve customer incidents and service requests using the client's ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows hardware and software issues.
- Perform user data backup, restoration, and migration activities.
- Provide Smart Hands support for networking, server, and telecommunications technologies.
- Support printers and other peripheral devices.
- Manage IT asset inventory, including asset tracking and audits.
- Utilize and follow Knowledge Base (KB) articles and documentation when troubleshooting.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when required.
- Provide Executive support when needed.
- Complete a variety of additional deskside support tasks as assigned.
- Travel to and support other client locations as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience supporting macOS, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, smartphones, AV conferencing systems, printers, and PC hardware.
- Ability to maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
- Experience supporting remote users and satellite office locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong professionalism with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform detailed research and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous deskside, desktop, or end-user support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide responsive support in fast-paced environments.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Job Requirements:- Desktop support, installation printers, scanners
