Job Title :Deskside Support Engineer
Location: Malvern, PA
Duration: 6-12 Months
Pay Rate - $26/hr (all Inclusive)Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deskside Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing top-notch technical support and ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in desktop support, specifically L2/L3 level.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in desktop operating systems and troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills and a professional presence.
- Experience with client-side mail systems (MS Outlook), MS Office, and other industry-standard applications.
- Experience in managing VIP clients.
- Printer support and troubleshooting expertise.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Experience in device validation and inventory management.
- Good customer/vendor handling skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of IT equipment failures.
- Power on/power off devices, reset remote management connection IDs and passwords.
- Reseat cables and perform general troubleshooting.
- Provide feedback on console displays, such as stop errors or blue screens.
- Identify and report audible errors and system failures.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members.
