  • Completed work is normally accepted as accurate; technical documents and recommendations are

reviewed only for feasibility, soundness of judgment and conformance with assigned objectives

  • Provides technical guidance for problem resolution
  • Plans and performs applied research, design and development work in an engineering speciality;

carries out experiments and tests and investigates unusual and difficult problems.
