Title: Designer I

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Designer I in the Energy sector. This opportunity supports power and utility projects with a mix of field and office-based work.
Job Duties:
- Perform field data collection and support outage audits
- Assist with planning, design, and project coordination activities
- Collect measurements, take photos, and document site conditions
- Prepare reports and maintain project documentation
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of work experience
- Background or interest in power/energy industry preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and project information
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to walk at least 1 mile in field conditions and work outdoors
