IDR is seeking a Designer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely. This role involves creating high-end book cover designs and overseeing various aspects of book production. The company operates within the publishing and printing industry, focusing on print design and production, not digital media.
Position Overview for the Designer:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop book cover concepts and page layouts.
- Oversee the entire book production process from cover design to proofing.
- Proficiently use InDesign, including stylesheet templates and finishing processes.
- Work approximately 30 hours per week, with potential fluctuations.
- Focus on print-only book design projects, demonstrating experience with high-quality print materials.
Requirements for the Designer:
- 4 years of relevant experience in design, advertising, or a related industry.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Portfolio and/or samples of book design and print work are mandatory for all submissions.
- Must have experience and be proficient with InDesign (including stylesheet templates, 4-color + finishes, etc.).
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with an established portfolio demonstrating expertise in various creative mediums.

Compensation $46 - 47/hr W2
