Designer (Chassis Systems)

STS Technical Services is hiring a Designer, Chassis Systems in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Position Summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a Designer to support chassis system development for motorcycle platforms in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This role is responsible for CAD design and delivery of components and systems from concept through production release.

You will work inside the design process, not around it. Build models. Manage assemblies. Release drawings that can actually be manufactured.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and manage CAD models for motorcycle chassis components and systems
• Support design from concept through production release
• Develop detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing
• Manage large assemblies and ensure accuracy across all design elements
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet quality cost timing and manufacturability objectives
• Support design updates revisions and release processes within the CAD and PLM environment

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Mechanical Design preferred or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric CAD software required
• Experience with PLM file management in Windchill preferred
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred
• Experience working with complex assemblies and detailed component design
