Job Title: Designer and DrafterWe are seeking a skilled Designer and Drafter with a minimum of three years' experience to assist with redline drawings and utilize AutoCAD in support of government, military, or regulated-industry projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drawing-control requirements, redline/as-built drawing procedures, weld symbol/callout standards, and PCP documentation.ResponsibilitiesReview specifications and interpret contract drawing requirements.Update CAD drawings accurately and document field changes.Ensure fabrication/installation details comply with required codes, standards, and quality-control expectations.Process inbound data by managing new project documentation and drawings.Execute revisions by updating existing drawings with redline changes.Maintain accurate records of revisions and ensure configuration control requirements are met.Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and field personnel to keep documentation current.Verify drawing changes comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer quality requirements.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and expertise in technical drawing modification.High proficiency in processing, marking up, and executing redline drawing revisions quickly and accurately.Experience supporting government, military, or regulated-industry projects.Understanding of fabrication, construction, industrial equipment, or engineering project workflows.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Solidworks, 3D modeling, drafting/design, and GD&T.Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation standards.Ability to process large volumes of drawing revisions with accuracy.Work EnvironmentThis role supports complex engineering and infrastructure projects where accuracy, documentation control, and attention to detail are critical. Team members work closely with project management, engineering, operations, and quality teams in a collaborative environment.
