Responsibilities:
- Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Creo, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software to improve product performance and manufacturability.
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation while maintaining accurate technical data.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, Materials, and Planning teams to support product development and production.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical and electronic systems, and implement design and process improvements.
- Lead engineering projects, ensuring project schedules, budgets, and deliverables are successfully achieved.
- Provide technical guidance, review engineering work, delegate tasks, and mentor junior team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing product designs, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional operations.
Summary:
Support sourcing and supplier management activities by assisting with procurement strategies, supplier selection, commodity management, and the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP). Analyze supplier quotations, costs, spend, and inventory data using Excel, SAP, and Power BI to drive cost reduction and process improvements. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve supplier issues, support engineering changes, monitor supplier performance, ensure material availability, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
