The Layout Editor position is a part-time, temporary role for a creative, organized student enrolled at UM-Flint, responsible for designing and layouting the student newspaper's print and digital editions, maintaining branding, and managing web and multimedia content.
Responsibilities include designing issues, uploading online content, creating newsletters, assisting with photography/videography, developing social media graphics, supporting marketing efforts, and collaborating with the team.
Qualifications require proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong design skills, organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn web publishing, photography, and marketing tools. Prior experience in media or design is preferred.
