Mechanical Design Engineer Product Design Group

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Successful candidate will:

  • Use CAD tools to simulate test develop and document new products for engines and vehicles in the automotive markets.
  • Conduct document and track design reviews.
  • Generate project plan and document per Engineering Department procedures.
  • Participate in and lead teams as required.
  • Generate preliminary estimates for Capital Investment Plan.
  • Conduct create Stack-up Analysis DVP&Rs DFMEA and CpkPpkGage R&R.

 

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • 3-5 years experience within an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Plastics design experience preferred.
  • Candidate should possess analytical interpersonal and communication skills along with strong PC skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to manage difficult situations and be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
