This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline. You will design, draft, and release engineering parts, assemblies, and installations for hardware-in-loop test system racks.Job DutiesPerform administrative and technical tasks required to support development of lab test detail, assembly, and installation drawings and models, including associated work within the ENOVIA Product Data managerDevelop 2D installation drawings and 3D modelsEmploy aerospace industry wiring installation practices including system separation, as well as common aerospace industry mechanical design standardsCoordinate design reviews with appropriate Integrated Program Teams (IPTs), (e.g. Program Stress Engineering, Tech Design team, Design Engineering teams) to obtain design approvals and drafting checks prior to completion of taskAccurately perform medium complexity numerical stack-up calculations and GD&T functionsAssist with the release process for drawings and modelsDevelops solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems which require ingenuity and innovationHands on fabrication, assembly, or maintenance experienceRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent certificationFour+ years total experience in CAD hardware design - CATIA V5Proven ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions in both design and implementation stagesExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to make plans and directional recommendations collaboratively and cross-functionallyAbility to engineer creative, new approaches to problemsMust be a US CitizenPreferred Qualifications & SkillsKnowledge of Test System LRU's, Test System Rack Design, and wiring harnesses/connectorsKnowledge and application of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)Familiarity with Boeing design release processStrong knowledge and experience with CATIA V5/Enovia/CMProWe provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000 to $130,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
