Description

The selected candidate will become a Civil Design Engineer. This role supports the design, modeling, and integration efforts for Civil/Structural elements for Sentinel Launch Facilities, Launch Centers, or Test Facilities. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil/structural systems design for the Sentinel infrastructure and facilities. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil/structural systems design for the Sentinel infrastructure and facilities.

• Subject matter expert supporting the design of high complexity civil/structural systems, including structural steel design drawings, concrete forming and reinforcing design drawings. • Review subcontractors design product quality/accuracy by reviewing civil/structural designs and validating that current standards are applied and integrated into the design solution. • Support the delivery of Civil/Structural facility design Technical Data Packages, Issue-for-Construction (IFC) packages, as-built TDPs, PDPs, interface models, and additional design artifacts. • Developing and presenting design change requests, coordinating with impacted internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring configuration control of the technical baseline. • Identifying risks and opportunities associated with or driven by design factors and executing handling/mitigation/capture actions to reduce risk or realize opportunities. • Developing and maturing Civil/Structural facility designs that meet Weapon System requirements, UFC, MIL-STD, and other applicable codes and regulations. Basic Qualifications:

• Design Engineer: Bachelor''s degree with 2 years' experience; 0 years' experience with a Master's degree Design Engineer: Bachelor''s degree with 2 years' experience; 0 years' experience with a Master's degree

• Principal Design Engineer: Bachelor''s degree with 5 years' experience; 3 years' experience with a Master's degree; or 1 year' experience with a PhD.
