Job Description
A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
- Design and detail custom conveying equipment
- Perform design analysis for components
- Create detail drawings
- Complete bills of material
- Evaluate and implement design changes
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
- The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related education
Thorough understanding of:
Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
Mechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratios
Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis
Strengths of materials and structural analysis
ASD steel design code
Training and/or experience in using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
