Performance Review at 6 Months – Potential Increase up to $140,000

A growing engineering team is looking for a seasoned RF Electronics Design Engineer who enjoys building real products and solving complex technical challenges. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay hands-on with design, testing, and real-world production support, not just sit behind a screen.

You’ll be working on active RF products such as amplifiers, mixers, couplers, and other RF electronics used in advanced systems. Engineers in this group play a key role in taking ideas from concept through testing and into production.

Why This Role Stands Out
• Competitive salary with performance review at 6 months and opportunity to grow to $140K
• Small-company environment where engineers have real ownership and influence
• Work across multiple disciplines, design, testing, troubleshooting, and production
• Opportunity to contribute to products that make it into the field
• Hands-on engineering role, not just theoretical design work

What You'll Be Doing
This position blends design work with practical engineering support.

• Design RF electronic circuits and systems using tools like Altium and HFSS
• Develop and refine designs for RF products including amplifiers, mixers, and couplers
• Build and test prototypes to validate performance
• Troubleshoot and improve designs during development and production
• Work closely with production teams to resolve technical issues on the manufacturing floor

Approximate focus of the role:
• 40% RF design and development
• 40% testing, troubleshooting, and validation
• 20% production support and resolving technical challenges

What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of RF electronics design experience or similar electronics device design experience
• Experience designing with off-the-shelf RF components
• Proven track record of products successfully released into the field
• Background in mixed-signal electronics design
• Strong testing, troubleshooting, and lab skills
• Ability to solder and work hands-on with prototypes

Nice to have:
• Experience with DC power control design

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

Additional Notes
• This role is not customer facing

If you enjoy working in an environment where engineers are trusted to solve problems, build products, and continuously improve systems, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.
