Job Description: Design Engineer
We are seeking a Design Engineer focused on Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. This role involves working closely with the Advanced Programs team to support ammunition research and development programs. You will design new products, including components and assemblies, that meet the evolving requirements of the warfighter, emphasizing producibility and affordability.

Work Environment
The Design Engineer will report to the Chief Engineer and indirectly to the Director of Advanced Programs. You will work closely with Program Managers, R&D, and NPD teams to drive efforts on current and future programs. The work environment is clean, with a focus on meeting customer demands and ensuring competitiveness. The role involves collaboration with various departments including customers, suppliers, manufacturing, R&D, and quality assurance. There is a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth, along with tuition reimbursement. Travel up to 25% may be required, primarily to New Jersey.
