Design Engineer I - Utility Infrastructure (New Grad)

What You'll Do:

• The objective of this role is to scope, design and develop electrical service systems for new customers.
• You will be responsible for customer interaction, scoping and cost estimation.
• You will be responsible for providing a design package that meets customer needs.
• You will often meet with the customer and construction crews on site to review the scope of our design and discuss project execution.
• Client Facing Experience
• This is a primarily work-from-home position that has required fieldwork we're hiring across PPL Electric Utilities' service territory including: Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Sunbury, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, East Stroudsburg, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Doylestown, and nearby areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
• 0-1 years of relevant work experience in consulting or related field
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus
• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
