    Description

    As a Design Enablement Project Manager, on the Store Experience Design Team, you will be the connective tissue between creative vision and operational execution. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to plan, drive, and deliver end-to-end design initiatives across our store formats and concepts. With a scope that spans fixture design, environmental design, store formats, visual merchandising, graphics, and experiential strategy, this role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in complexity, excels at cross-functional alignment, and can manage multiple high-impact programs from concept through implementation. This individual has a proactive, collaborative, and resourceful mindset that drives the evolution of our experiences forward.

    This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

    What you'll do

    • Lead complex, cross-functional store design programs from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand standards, and creative vision.
    • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables across store environments, fixture systems, graphics, and customer experience initiatives.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Construction, Architecture, Operations, and external partners to drive alignment and execution.
    • Translate business needs into actionable project briefs, facilitate design reviews, and ensure stakeholders remain informed, accountable, and aligned throughout the design process.
    • Champion continuous improvement of workflows, documentation, and process standards to enable scalable, efficient, and repeatable design execution.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency within design development and implementation processes.
    • Ensure design intent, brand integrity, and customer experience standards are maintained through execution by partnering with implementation, engineering, production, and field teams.
    Basic qualifications
    • 5 or more years of experience in program management, preferably in retail, architecture, experiential design, or creative environments.
