As part of the Nord Anglia Education network, we're proud to stand alongside Avenues São Paulo, shaping the future of education together.ABOUT THE ROLEThis position is intended to develop student's abilities in Design & Engineering, including the design thinking process of creation and prototyping a service or a product, design and making, and understanding the tools of a modern fabrication lab.WHAT YOU WILL DOAs Design & Engineering (Maker) Teacher you will:Ensure that students grow dramatically in passion, understanding and skill in fundamental design concepts, crafting and fabrication techniques, and iterative design processes.Teach design and engineering classes to students in Upper Division gradesKeep all fabrication space machines operational through proper maintenance, troubleshoot and repair when possible, and arrange service by outside technicians when necessary.Manage and track inventory, budget and equipmentDevelop and maintain strong safety standards and practices in the iLabMaintain a clean and organized environment (and model this for faculty and students)Provide active support to the FTC robotics programStays up to date on emerging creative technology innovationsAdditional informationIf hired for this position, the annual salary range for this position is between $72,000 - $112,433. The salary may vary depending on your experience level and skills.
