Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant with a passion for dermatology and a desire to provide exceptional patient care? We are seeking a talented Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our esteemed healthcare team at VHS, supporting clinics in Clifton Springs with the potential to float to RGH Genesee Valley Derm. What You'll Bring:
- Recent Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Minimum of 3 years of dermatology or relevant clinical experience
- Active New York State Physician Assistant license in hand
- Board certification in dermatology or related specialty
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a patient load of 25-35 patients per day
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Previous experience with flexible scheduling or supporting multiple locations
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Familiarity with practice management and clinic flow optimization
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NY license in hand with recent hospital or clinical experience
- Consistent work history with no gaps exceeding 30 days
- Background supporting dermatology patients and procedures
Other Requirements:
- BLS certification is required
- Support staff (LPN, RN, MA) available at a ratio of 1 for every 12 patients
- Flexibility for weekday daytime shifts (8:00 am 4:30 pm)
- Must include a professional statement regarding malpractice history if applicable
- Travel reimbursement and additional support provided as needed
