QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant at our Charlotte location, you will be an essential part of the clinical team, facilitating patient care and contributing to efficient office operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen processing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following regulatory standards.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage effective communication within the clinic.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with medical supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Experience in a Medical Assistant role or clinical healthcare environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dermatology-related medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for positive patient interactions.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is beneficial.
