    Ohio Department of Public Safety- Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Field Service District 1

    Report in Location: 12000 Snow Rd., Unit 10, Parma, OH 44130

    Work Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

    • Daily report in location will be determined based on operations and the successful applicant's residency.*
    • This position will require daily travel to location within their assigned area utilizing a State vehicle*

    What You'll Do as a Deputy Registrar Field Representative

    • Conduct onsite visitation & complete periodic & special assignments necessary to over-see, monitor & evaluate & provide training, technical assistance & direction to contractual personnel in assigned deputy registrar agencies, in assigned territory:
    • In assigned territory, oversee, monitor & evaluate assigned deputy registrar agencies by conducting onsite visitations;
    • Check revenue & document disposition by reviewing end of day reports;
    • Complete early &/or late visits to ensure agency open &/or close procedures are ob-served;
    • Verify & remove items for return to Bureau of Motor Vehicles' warehouse to keep deputy registrar agency free of salvage plates, obsolete items, & returned items for credit.

    Option 1

    2 yrs. exp. in position involved in reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness &/or compliance with reporting guidelines, laws & rules;

    AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of computer hardware, software & peripheral equipment;

    AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing or word processing; valid driver's license.

    Option 2

    • Or 2 yrs. exp. as office manager or assistant office manager in deputy registrar agency in Ohio;

    AND valid driver's license.

    Option 3

    • Or 2 yrs. exp. working in Ohio Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, in position dealing with issuance of operator licenses & vehicle registration;

    AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of computer hardware, software & peripheral equipment;

    AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in typing or word processing; valid driver's license.

    • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
