Main Purpose of Job
This is a senior management position that serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Financial Services (DCFO-FS) within the Office of Budget and Finance (OBF) for the Department of Human Services (DHS). Working in tandem with the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Budget (DCFO-B), this position assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the management of an annual budget of over $4.0 billion, a payroll of approximately 7000 positions, eight State administrations, and 24 decentralized autonomous Local Departments of Social Services (LDSS).
