Dept Coordinator

This position has the responsibility to serve as a link between Projects and Supply Chain groups within Emerson to communicate and confirm complete goods orders, order configuration, any change order needed, and part availability. They will also be assistingwith inventory discrepancies and credit return process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Serve as point of contact for order changes and escalations.
• Perform needed transactions in work orders to support order changes and other related operations into the ERP system
• Communicate all changes to the distribution team when orders are updated.
• Assure buy-out material is processed correctly for any project order.
• Assist with problem solving and investigations on process related nonconformances.
• Review any inventory discrepancies and find the document root cause
• Research, analyze and respond to complex order status inquiries
• Prioritize, expedite and trace sales order assignments based upon customer expectations and financial goals
• Support business systems infrastructure, processes and testing for distribution of all products from worldwide distribution centers and factories.
• Process all credit returns.
• Promote continuous improvement philosophy throughout entire distribution center team and work with quality and others to resolve quality issues.
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of team to provide excellent customer service and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Education and/or Experience
• Associate's degree and working experience in a technical, project support or coordination role (3+ years)
• Previous warehouse or supply chain experience a plus
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP system a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking

• Demonstrated abilities using Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated verbal and email etiquette skills
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
