Job Description:
Demonstrate CVCU culture and values while providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for all
deposit-related functions. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with job-related
regulatory requirements including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML),
USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Reg CC, Reg E, NACHA rules, Reg J, UCC Articles 3&4, and Fair Lending
Regulations. Also responsible for the following:

  • Provide direct leadership and oversight of multiple deposit operations functions, including ACH/EFT processing, wire transfers, debit card and ATM operations, share draft processing and exceptions, IRA/HSA administration, cash ordering, account maintenance, remote services, new account review, and digital deposit platforms. Establish clear ownership, accountability, and documented responsibilities across all functional areas.

  • Manage daily operational workflows to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established service level standards. Monitor balancing, settlement, and exception activity, ensuring discrepancies are investigated, resolved, and escalated appropriately.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements. Maintain audit readiness, coordinate audit preparation, and lead timely remediation of audit findings. Enforce standardized policies, procedures, and internal controls to minimize operational and regulatory risk.

  • Lead, coach, and develop downline staff through ongoing performance management, training, and development planning. Promote cross-training and depth of expertise across teams to support continuity, scalability, and succession planning. Serve as the escalation point for complex operational or system-related issues.

  • Oversee effective use of the core processing system and digital banking platforms supporting deposit functions. Identify process inefficiencies, lead operational improvements, support automation initiatives, and participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and user acceptance testing. Partner with SVP of Operations, IT and vendors to resolve system issues impacting operational performance.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
  • (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing,
    or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific
    skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for
    the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting
    cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion,
    requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Ability to organize projects, priorities and time management. Excellent analytical skills.
    Critical level of attention to detail and problem solving skills required. Excellent verbal and
    written communication skills.
  • Remains in a stationary position for 50% or more of the time.
    Regularly operates office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, copy machine, and
    printer.
    Communicates information and ideas effectively, ensuring accurate exchange of
    information in all situations.
    Observes details at close range, typically within a few feet of the observer.
    Occasionally moves items weighing 10-15 pounds within the work location or as needed.
  • This position requires approximately 25% or less travel time. Travel will primarily be local,
    but may extend to any location where the organization operates. Some travel for training or
    conferences may involve overnight stays, depending on business needs. The work
    environment is a professional, office-based setting that promotes collaboration, open
    communication, and a positive atmosphere. Employees are encouraged to work both
    independently and as part of a team.
