We are seeking a Deployment Technician to support a large-scale hardware refresh project. The focus of this role is to replace outdated Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines with thin client devices across multiple store locations. This is a hands-on role requiring efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication with internal teams and store contacts.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure thin client devices following established imaging and setup procedures.
• Deploy devices by coordinating with stores, ensuring proper connectivity and functionality.
• Contact store locations to schedule, guide, and confirm successful cutover of equipment.
• Track progress of completed deployments and escalate technical issues as needed.
• Support the IT team with related project tasks to ensure smooth execution of the refresh initiative.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT hardware deployment, desktop support, or related field.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and thin client environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Excellent communication skills for working with store managers and internal IT staff.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet project deadlines.

Additional Information

• This is a temporary contract role expected to run through the end of the year.
• Work may require periodic evening or weekend hours to support store cutovers.
