Position Summary
The College of Liberal Arts is home to 30+ undergraduate majors, 42 minors, and 32 graduate degree programs. The Department Coordinator in the College of Liberal Arts reports to the Chair and the Administrator and is responsible for delivering administrative support to faculty, students, and staff. Core responsibilities include supporting departmental operations and administrative processes and assisting with student services and events. In addition, the Coordinator performs a variety of duties, including serving as the primary point of contact for the office by greeting guests and responding to inquiries, submitting requisitions for supplies and workorders, collecting syllabi, assisting with departmental email accounts and calendars, coordinating events and meetings, and working with Dean's Office on course scheduling and adjunct hiring.
This is a 10-month position (off during the months of June and July). Required to be on campus five days a week from 8am - 5pm.
