Marquette University School of Dentistry invites applications for a Clinical Supervisor in Radiology. This position reports to the Program Director for the Predoctoral Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Duties and Responsibilities

Applicant will be involved in teaching didactic radiology courses offered to dental students, and x-ray image acquisitions of patients. Duties will include clinical teaching of intraoral and extraoral dental techniques, supervising students in the oral radiology clinic and assessing students' radiographs. Applicant is expected to take various oral radiographs including acquisition of CBCT images or other images of patients as requested by the oral radiologist. Applicant will also maintain Radiology inventory, coordinate student schedules with patients, and various other responsibilities. The job requires interaction with faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and staff members.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and radiology experience may be considered.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with demonstrated teaching, supervisory, and managerial abilities.
  • Experience as a Radiologic Technologist required, with strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care standards.
  • CT experience and/or advanced imaging knowledge preferred.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Earned post-graduate (MS or PhD degree, or equivalent). Demonstrated record of teaching and clinical excellence.
