Dental Treatment Coordinator
Endodontic Center
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic endodontic practice. This role is for someone who brings enthusiasm, confidence, and positive energy to every patient and team interaction. You will guide patients through their care, help them understand treatment and financial options, and create a seamless experience from referral through treatment completion.
You will thrive in this position if you are proactive, personable, organized, and motivated by helping patients move forward with the care they need. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, creating momentum, and contributing to the success of a fast-paced specialty practice.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and create a positive, professional, and reassuring experience.
- Guide patients through recommended treatment plans with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
- Explain treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, estimated financial responsibility, and payment options.
- Help patients understand the value and urgency of completing recommended treatment.
- Schedule treatment efficiently while supporting patient needs and practice goals.
- Follow up consistently with patients who have not yet scheduled treatment.
- Identify and help resolve financial, scheduling, or communication barriers to care.
- Maintain an organized and productive schedule by responding quickly to openings and cancellations.
- Coordinate with referring offices to obtain referrals, imaging, clinical documentation, and other necessary information.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, clinical team members, administrative staff, patients, and referring practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment and financial conversations.
- Build strong relationships with patients and referral partners.
- Take ownership of the patient journey from the initial referral through treatment completion.
- Contribute positive energy, teamwork, and a solutions-focused mindset to the practice each day.
Qualifications:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of dental experience, preferably in treatment coordination, case presentation, scheduling, insurance, or dental front-office operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an endodontic or specialty dental practice is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of periodontal terminology and treatment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance benefits, treatment estimates, financial arrangements, and patient payment options.
- Confident and comfortable discussing treatment and financial responsibilities with patients.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High-energy, enthusiastic, engaging, and patient-focused.
- Organized, proactive, dependable, and attentive to detail.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to keep patients and processes moving forward.
- Professional demeanor and a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and accountable to the team.
