QUALIFICATIONS

• Dental office experience
• Experience with scheduling or treatment coordination
• Strong knowledge of industry terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage scheduling priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong financial communication skills with patients, including treatment costs, co-pays, and balances
• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A DENTAL SCHEDULING AND TREATMENT COORDINATOR

In this full-time role, you'll manage the practice's workflow by coordinating provider schedules, filling cancellations, and confirming appointments to reduce downtime. You'll warmly welcome patients, guide them through check-in/out, and minimize wait times. Your responsibilities will include presenting treatment plans, explaining procedures and financial options, verifying benefits, coordinating pre-authorizations, tracking treatment acceptance, and following up with patients. You'll maintain HIPAA-compliant records, handle calls, and work closely with providers while ensuring patients feel supported.
