Overview

Dental Receptionist

Minnesota Periodontal Associates

 

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a positive experience while supporting the day to day operations of the practice.

Our periodontal practice is built on a foundation of compassion, integrity, and patient centered care. We are committed to treating every patient with respect, honesty, and professionalism. Supported by modern technology and a collaborative team environment, we strive to provide the highest quality care in a welcoming and comfortable setting for both patients and team members.

 

Schedule: Full Time, Monday- Thursday 8-5 and every other Friday 8-1 


Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
