About the Role:Guru Dental Group LLC is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our growing team in Bridgeville, PA! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our practice and play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff
- Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims accurately
- Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and balances
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical histories
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient scheduling and minimal wait times
Requirements:- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent required
